RoadEye announces manufacturing partnership with BI-Electronics.

 

BI-Electronics have been selected to manufacture RoadEye's vehicle tracking units, from their purpose built state of the art manufacturing facility in Hertfordshire


BI Electronics have many years experience in offering comprehensive turnkey manufacturing services with fast turnaround prototyping through large scale printed circuit board assembly to full box build and test.

Thatcham Q Class Listing

RoadEye has successfully received Thatcham Q class listing from The Motor Insurance Repair Research Centre. RoadEye was subject to evaluation and performance testing to the requirements of the British Insurance Industry’s Criteria for Vehicle Security (based on Test Specifications for Alarms/Immobilisers Issue 2). The Test Programme undertaken included:

  • Installation Inspection
  • Tracking Trials
  • Verification of operation of Personal Computer
  • Verification of operation by mobile phone

The Thatcham organisation concluded that RoadEye:

  • Performed as claimed by AEGIS Engineering Systems.
  • Demonstrated loss reduction potential for automotive application.
  • Was reliable and durable in an automotive environment.
  • Was installed correctly, securely and safely.
